Luis F. Perez, a Puerto Rican native raised in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, is an artist and founder of LFP Studios. Overcoming language barriers in his youth, he swiftly mastered English and demonstrated exceptional aptitude across all subjects, particularly in art. His early years were marked by a relentless pursuit of creativity, utilizing any available surface as a canvas, from cardboard boxes to walls.

From his inaugural mural project in 7th grade, which garnered recognition from the Mayor, to his immersion in the graffiti subculture of NYC during junior high, art became both a passion and a refuge for Luis, steering him away from trouble. During high school, he honed his skills while working with children in an after-school program, eventually assuming the role of Assistant Art Director.

Despite lacking formal training, Luis possesses a diverse skill set, including proficiency in screen printing, graphic design, carpentry, building, and lighting design. His artistic hiatus was interrupted by his daughter's passion for art, reigniting his lifelong commitment to creativity. For Luis, artistic expression is not just a hobby but a fundamental aspect of his identity, continually shaping and enriching his life's journey.
